Here are the most common questions we get - "Frequently Asked Questions". Please read these through. If you still wonder something, comment on this journal :D

Q #1: Can I join?
A: Of course! Everyone is auto-accepted. Just hit the "join our group"button located in the section to the left on our front page. Also, if you join, you don't need to click the "watch"button, watching comes automatically with joining.

Q #2: Is my art welcome in this group?
A: Sure, this is a group for Everyone of All skill levels, using any kind of medium. We think everyone deserves to have their work featured. Just make sure you submit to the correct folder, and we will accept.

Q #3: Where do I submit?
A: We have a fairly easy folder system, and we also have folder descriptions that you can read here: deviantsgallery.deviantart.com… . Read them through and we hope they will be of help.

Q #4: How do I submit to your gallery?
A: Tutorials on group gallery submissions:  How to submit to groups A and How to submit to groups B

Q #5: I'm sorry, I submitted to the wrong folder, how can I fix this?
A: No worries, it happens to all of us. Just withdraw it, and after that you can re-submit to the correct folder.

Q #6: How do I withdraw something?
A: You will find all your submissions to groups in your "Correspondence" folder in your Message Center, just find the one to our group and simply hit "withdraw".

Q #7: I have deleted my correspondence messages, can I still withdraw my work?
A: Yes you can, just click on the "Deviation submission process"link that you can find in the very top of the withdrawal-message you got from us. If you have deleted that too, send the group a note (not any of the admins) and give us a link to your deviation that you are trying to submit, and we will re-send the withdrawal-message.

Q #8: My submission expired, so I can't withdraw it now, can I?
A: No, sorry, you can't. But if you ask us nicely in the comment section of your submission, or in a note (providing the link to your deviation) we will submit it for you.

Q #9: I have withdrawn my work, but I still get the the message that I exceed the submission limit, what's wrong?
A: This seems to be a glitch/bug within the DA system, but if you send the group a note with the link to the deviation you were trying to submit, we will submit it for you.

Q #10: What happens if I don't withdraw my wrongfully submitted art?
A: Your artworks won't be in our gallery before we have accepted it. And that's why it's important that you withdraw when we tell you, if you want yout art to be seen by the other members of this group.
Because if you don't withdraw, your submission will expire, and then you will have to wait another 30 days before you can re-submit something. Withdrawing a submission cancels the process, and gives you your submission slot back.

Q #11: Why do you have a folder that says we shouldn't submit to it? Seems unnecessery...
A: This is more for our admins, read about why we have such a folder here: deviantsgallery.deviantart.com…

Q #12: If I wonder anything about the group, where my submission belongs and such, what do I do?
A: Just note the group, and give us links and other information that concerns what you are asking abut, and we will do our very best to help you :)
It's much better if you note the group itself, not any of the admins, since all the admins will see a group note so you will get an answer more quickly than you would if you wait for one single admin to check their notes.

Q #13: So, do you guys run deviantART.com?
A: Oh no, not in any way! This is a common misunderstanding, we get a lot of questions concerning the over all running of things on this site.
We are just ordinary members on this site. Groups are started by us, the members of DA, not by the owners and admins of DA. We administrate this group, not the whole site. We can only help you out with problems concerning this site, not with deviantART.com

Q #14: I get too many works from your group, how do I stop that?
A: Just go to your friends section: my.deviantart.com/deviants , then find our group and un-check the notifications you wish to stop receiving.
Or you can click on the big green button that says "watching" on our front page, and you'll get a popup-window were you can un-check what you want to stop receiving from our group.
Or you can click on the little arrow in the corner of the submission stack, and choose "Unwatch DeviantsGallery's deviations".

Q #15: Why can I only submit one deviation a month?
A: Because this is a very large group - more than 50 000 members, and we get hundreds of submissions each day. To be able to handle all those submissions, without breaking down from stress, we have to set the limit like this. We are only doing this on our free time, and we also want to enjoy the rest of the site and handle our own activity, plus our real lives.
Also, even with 1 a month limit the members of this group get a heavy load of submissions, and some members actually want to see what's submitted and don't want to uncheck our submissions, so it's the best number to keep them from really drowning in submissions.

Q #16: How do I know when I last submitted something to the group?
A: Go to our front page, and check the "Activity"widget right above the comments section, your avatar should be in the list and you can see how long it's been since you last submitted something.

Q #17: How do I leave the group?
A: Go to our front page, right next to the group name at the top you can see your icon and username, and you click on the little arrow. At the bottom of the dropdown menu you click on "Leave the group".
After that, go to your friends section and click on "remove" on our group.
