I think you have all noticed our top folder, "- Dont submit here, pick the correct folder".
Maybe we need to explain the purpose of this folder.
This folder is not for submissions. Nothing will ever be accepted in it, everything submitted to it will be declined and asked to be re-submitted to the correct folder.
We created this folder, to save us a lot of time.
Because there will always be people that don't pay enough attention to groups' folder systems, for many reasons.
They will just submit to whatever folder that shows up first, either in the gallery, or in the drop down menu when submitting to the group directly from a deviation.
Mostly this is the aphabetically first folder, and before this was our "Animations"folder, and we got so many wrong submissions to this one, from people that didn't understood the folder system, or didn't care about it.
And since we almost never decline submissions, only re-direct them, we had to check every single submission to this folder, in order to be able to re-direct it to the correct folder.
Since we get hundreds of submissions a day, this took a lot of time and energy.
Now, with this "dummy" folder, we don't have to look at the submissions to it.
We just decline it, and then tell the member to re-submit to the correct folder.
It saves us so much time, allows us to focus more on the other submissions, making us approve your submissions faster.
There will always be wrong submissions, we can all interpret one single word differently, therefore we can understand wrong submissions when it comes to fan art submitted to our digital art folder, because the deviation is made digitally. That's why we have no problem asking our member to withdraw and re-submit when it comes to this. We want to give everyone this second chance since we have the once a month submission limit.
But we still need to have ways of making our group as smoothly as possible to handle, because you are more than 50 000 members, we are just a few admins, and we are doing this on our free time, and we don't have 24 hours a day of free time.
So we created this folder.
